Whether check in baggage is free or not depends on which class of ticket are you travelling. It does charge fee for every check in bag but certain ticket classes are not charged for 1st check in luggage. This information on fee for both domestic and international flights is given below. There are six different fare classes of ticket booking on Virgin America. These are:

Maximum number of check in bags that can be carried on-board are 10.

Elevate Gold members are allowed up to 3 check in bags without fee. Elevate Silver members are allowed up to 2 check in bags free and the Virgin America Visa Signature Card holders are allowed up to 1 check in bag free.

Cabin Baggage

Cabin baggage allowance is limited to one cabin bag of 30 pounds. Passengers can also carry one additional personal item in cabin baggage. Cabin baggage allowance is same for both the domestic and international flights of Virgin America.

im traveling from san Francisco to vagas on mon 13th feb flight no vx0908 could you tell me the baggage allowences thanks

This is mentioned in the content above. You have to tell us the cabin class you are flying. For flying on Main Cabin, there is no free allowance. For other types of Main Cabin classes, the first check in baggage is free but second one is chargeable. For First Class cabin tickets, the 1st and 2nd check in bags are free.

Cabin allowance is 1 bag of up to 30 pounds.
