Lotusmiles is the frequent flyer program of the Vietnam Airlines. Passengers of more than 2 years of age are eligible to me its members.
Registration for the membership has to be done on its website or mobile application.
Some of the benefits of this program include priority boarding, extra baggage allowance, bonus miles, preferred seating and access to business lounges among others.
Silver- 1 qualifying mile or 1 qualifying flight
Titanium- 15000 qualifying miles or 20 qualifying flights
Gold- 30000 qualifying miles or 30 qualifying flights
Platinum- 50000 qualifying miles or 50 qualifying flights
Qualifying miles can be earned on Vietnam Airlines on:
a) the regular domestic and international flights,
b) international flights operated by SkyTeam members with VN carrier code and
c) those airline flights which operate with VN carrier code and have codeshare agreement with Vietnam Airlines (JetStar Pacific, Cambodia Angkor Air and Vasco)
a) Vietnam Airlines on flights domestic and international flights of the operated by airline.
b) International flights operated by SkyTeam members with carrier code of VN.
c) Flights with carrier code of VN that operated under codeshare with Vietnam Airlines, such as JetStar Pacific, ANA, Cathay Pacific, Jet Airways, Philippine Air, Etihad Airways, Laos Airlines, VASCO and Cambodia Angkor Air.
It takes about 5-7 days for miles to be credited to your account from Vietnam Airlines or other airline partner. Further, it takes 6 to 8 weeks for miles to be credited from non-air partners.
Vietnam Airlines partners on which you can earn Miles are other airlines, banking and finance, hospitality, telecom, car rental, health and beauty, shopping, vingroup and insurance sector companies.
Airline Partners for earning the miles are- Aeroflot, Aerolineas Argentinas, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Air France, Alitalia, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, Korean Air, Middle East Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch, Saudi Arabian, Tarom, Xiamen, Jet Airways, JetStar and ANA.
Miles accrued with airline partners depend on booking class and qualifying flights and it can vary from one airline to another.
Miles earned under the Lotusmiles program can also be redeemed in a number of ways. These are given below:
On Vietnam Airlines Award flights- this redemption is as per a chart of Award Ticket as is brought out by the airline from time to time.

c) If you want to know the award miles on other airlines- Jet Airways, ANA and SkyTeam, you have to check in which zones your points of origin and destinations lie. Vietnam Airlines as defined the Award Zones. These are the regions where you fly from one region to another and make use of Miles points Award chart for this purpose.

Buy Miles - You can buy the miles for certain specific sums. These are to be bought in slabs of 1000 miles:
Within Vietnam: VND 575,000 for 1,000 miles or
Outside Vietnam: USD 25 for 1,000 miles
Transfer Miles- The Miles are transferred from one LotusMiles member to another one. The transfer fee for this is:
Within Vietnam: VND 225,000 for 1,000 miles + Administration fee = VND 225,000 per transaction
Outside Vietnam: USD 10 for 1,000 miles + Administration fee = USD 10 per transaction
