Carry-on Baggage

All ticket holders could travel with a carry-on bag weighing up to 10 kg and of max size 40 x 25 x 55 cm. Additionally, a personal item like a handbag, laptop, tablet or a bag with goods bought at a duty-free shop is also allowed free.

Check-in Baggage

The following allowance rules are applicable for tickets bought after February 21, 2018.

Whether the check in baggage allowance is free or not depends on the fare choice booked. This is given in the table below. Passenger has an option of paying for their checked baggage while purchasing their ticket.

Maximum dimensions permitted for a checked bag are 50 x 28 x 80 cms (158 cms in total). Maximum weight permitted for a checked bag is up to 23 kg.

Every checked baggage corresponds to a single piece of up to 23 kgs. If the total weight is divided into two or more pieces, each new piece would be charged as an additional bag.

Certain fares classes permit passengers to Check baggage free of cost. Refer to the table below. These rules are for fares booked  

Checked Baggage Charges

Following are the check-in baggage allowance charges for the domestic and international flights. These depend on how the excess baggage is bought. Digital channels are less expensive as compared to the check-in counters at airports.

Excess Baggage Policy

If your checked bag weighs more than 23 kg, then charges are:

• Domestic flights- R$ 25.00 per extra kgs

• International flights- US $8.00 per extra kgs.

Bags should not exceed 45 kgs on domestic flights and 32 kgs (71 pounds) on international flights.

Maximum weight of excess check-in baggage allowed is up to 200 kgs (on payment of charges). More than this limit has to be sent through cargo with GOLLOG.

Infant Policy

If a passenger is travelling with an infant on lap, they could check in 1 baby stroller and 1 child safety seat or 1 baby carrier per child as extra luggage, free of charge. No carry-on baggage as such allowed.

On domestic flights, if other items are required to be checked in for the infant, it would be considered as part of the baggage of a parent or guardian.

On international flights, they are entitled to carry on luggage weighing up to 10 kgs.
