Aeroflot follows the piece based system of baggage allowance for all its flights. However, the number of bag pieces allowed to be carried in check in luggage varies depending upon service class and type of fare class booked.

Sum of dimensions of check in baggage shall not exceed 158 cm.

In cases where the flights are operated both by Aeroflot and other airlines, then baggage allowance rules of the dominant airline would be applicable.
Aurora and Rossiya Airlines are subsidiaries of Aeroflot. Therefore, on all flights operated jointly by Aeroflot with these airlines, the baggage rules of Aeroflot will be applicable. The exception is of Aurora flights SU3630-3639, SU4591-4629, SU4526-4545 on which one piece of baggage may be carried free of charge for all fare groups.
Infants are allowed 1 piece of check in baggage up to 10 kg weight and not exceeding 115 m as sum of dimensions in all service classes.
Exceptions based on route
All economy class passengers travelling on following routes are allowed 2 pcs of check in baggage free for all fare group bookings.
· To/from Delhi/Beijing/Shanghai
· To Hanoi (valid till 28 Oct, 2017)
· Between Istanbul/Belgrade and points in the Russian Federation (valid till 28 Oct, 2017)
· To/from Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh(valid till 24 Mar, 2018)
· Between Tel Aviv and New York, Washington
· Between Tokyo and Moscow/Saint Petersburg
Sea ship crews travelling on any economy class ticket are also allowed 2 pcs of check in bags free.
Business class passengers travelling between Tokyo and Moscow/Saint Petersberg are allowed 3 pcs of check in baggage for free.
Exceptions based on Frequent Flyer Program Membership Status
Following members of Aeroflot Bonus Program and other Sky Team Alliance programs are also entitled to additional baggage allowance:
· Platinum Aeroflot Bonus members- 2 pcs of check in baggage free
· Gold and Silver Aeroflot Bonus members- 1 pc of check in baggage free
· Elite and Elite Plus Sky Team Alliance members- 1 pc of check in baggage for free.

Airlines do not leave any chance of earning more money. So, you are very likely to be charged. We can give an estimate of about INR 8500 to INR 13500 to be charged till 32 kg weight of 1 check in bag (that is more than 23 kg but up to 32 kg)

No, if you carry one more check in bag, it will be charged for. For weight more than 23 kg and up to 32 kg of one check in baggage, Rs 13365.00 is chargeable.

Normally, Guitars are allowed in cabin if these are able to fit into space therein. So, if its dimensions are same as that of what airline allows, then it is okay. Otherwise, you have to put it on seat and buy ticket for it.

Ghee and Oil might not be allowed in check-in or cabin. Please check with the airline as well. Knife and nailcutter can be carried in the checkin baggage.

Please mention the nature of oil to be carried. Utensils can be taken. Iron can be taken. Packaging of pickles will determine whether these can be taken or not.

The items which you can not carry on Aeroflot are the same as what can not be carried with other airlines. If you have anything specific in mind, please do ask specifically for that item(s).

If the ticket booked in only one and from PEK to LYS with SVO being the intermediate connection, baggage allowance will remain same if the airline is same- Aeroflot. However, if the airlines are different, then there can be a change in baggage allowance. You have to tell us which is the other carrier, if any, and which leg of flight it is operating in order to know the right allowance.

Linear dimensions of check in bag shall not be more than 62 inches, or 158 cm in l+b+h. Since yours is oversized bag with dimensions of 110 linear inches, you will have to pay for it.

Cabin bag shall be of 10 kg free allowance as per Aeroflot rules for economy class passengers. Please cross check with the agency which booked ticket. We think they are wrong on this. Generally, airlines do allow 1 laptop in addition to cabin baggage allowance. Carrying 1 purse is also allowed but it shall be small. We suggest that you keep 1 cabin bag and 1 laptop bag weight total at 10 kg. Purse can be in addition to that.

You are allowed 1 check in bag of 23 kg if you have booked Economy Saver or Classic, or, 2 bags of 23 kg each if Economy Flexi tickets are booked. Yes, laptop can be taken separate from cabin luggage with total weight being 10 kg.

1 bag of 23 kg each is the check in baggage allowance for Economy Saver and Classic fare choices. Economy Flex tickets allow you 2 bags of 23 kg each. We are not able to use the booking code to determine which class of ticket you have.
