can baggage be checked through between airasia x and air asia?

As per rules, passengers are required to complete their immigration on first point of entry within India. So, baggage might have to be collected first by the passenger and then re check in has to be done. You can also check the same with the airline for better clarity.

Does every airasia flight allow a carry on bag...even the smaller jets that do shorter runs...ex: chiang mai cmx to hanoi? Thanks
