The piece-based system applies to all EVA Air flights to/from USA and Canada and some countries in Central and South America. For rest of the routes, the weight based system applies.

Hi we are booking flights from Bangkok (zone 2)to London Heathrow (zone 4) with EVA on a economy basic ticket, what will our check in baggage allowance be? Or do we only get allowed the 7kg carry on? Thank you

You do have a minimum of 20 kg check in baggage allowance when flying Economy Discount fare ticket. Economy Basic and Standard allows you 30 kg check in baggage alowance and Economy Plus allows 35 kg in check-in. Cabin allowance is of 7 kg only.

Can we put a chocolate on hand carry bag?

Admin Reply :

That shall not be a problem if taken in reasonable quantity. If this is too much, then it might be asked to be checked in. So, depends on how airline officials at airport take it and how much are you carrying?
