Ural Airlines Baggage Allowance

URAL airline has five cabin classes of service and its baggage allowances for hand luggage and check in luggage depend on which class you are travelling. These classes are Promo, Economy, Premium Economy, Business Lite and Business.

Cabin Baggage Allowance

Promo	1 to 5 kg
Economy, Premium Economy	1 to 5 kg
Business Lite	2 pieces total weight 15 kg
Business	2 pieces total weight 15 kg

Size of the cabin luggage shall not be more than 115 cm in sum of dimensions (55*40*20 cm).

Infants allowed 1 cabin bag of 5kg.

Check-in Baggage Allowance

Check-in baggage allowance on Ural Airlines is based on piece-based system of carriage.

Check-in baggage shall not be more than 203 cm in sum of dimensions, and none of its dimensions shall be more than 100 cm from any side.

Sports equipment shall not be more than 23 kg in weight and more than 203 cm in sum of dimensions.

Infants allowed one check-in bag of 10 kg besides the cabin bag of 5 kg.

Check in baggage of more than 50 kg will have to be transported as cargo.

Musical and other sports equipment are charged for. These are not treated as a part of the check in baggage.

Excess Baggage Charges

Following are the charges for extra, oversized and overweight baggage:

Musical instruments are not included in the free check in baggage allowance and these have to be paid for.

Sports Equipments

Skiing equipments- Free for all classes of travel except Promotional fares in check in baggage provided size does not exceed 203 cm and weight 23 kg.

Golf equipments- 1 passenger allowed 1 set of golf equipment whose weight does not exceed 23 kg and size 203 cm. Set includes clubs, balls and shoes.

Hockey equipment- same as above.

Cycling equipment- same as above.

Animals and Birds

Ural airline allows carriage of pets in its flights but these have to be paid for. The fee is RUB 2500 for flights within Russia, Euro 35 for CIS countries and Euro 60 for international flights.

Max weight of pet shall be 8 kg and the wicker container weight shall be 3 kg.

For domestic flights within Russian Federation, there is a need to provide Veterinary Certificate Form 1.

For international flights, International Veterinary Certificate needs to be provided. Another certificate of breeding value of animal is also to be provided.

Passengers are required to feed the dog or cat 2 hrs before flight. If the pet is to be carried in a container, it must be sufficiently ventilated, have absorbent mat on floor, shall be big enough for the animal to turn around comfortably.

Hi, I have booked a flight from St Petersburg to London with Ural Airlines. I am very unclear about what luggage I am allowed to take or how to pay for additional luggage if I need to. Can you help please.

Hi, I have booked a flight from Bordeaux to Moscow with Ural airlines and I am very unclear re luggage. Can you advise.

You have not mentioned the cabin class in which you are flying? For Promo tickets, Check in baggage allowance is up to 10 kg. For Economy and Premium Economy tickets, the allowance is 1 bag of up to 23 kg.
