If I have Alitalia ticket for domestic sector on business class and connect to Qatar Airways in Rome to fly to Doha also in business class, can my luggage check in through in Rome ?

Admin Reply :

You will have to check this with the Alitalia local office since it depends on some factors which they will be able to tell better.

Does Indigo has alliance with Qatar airways ? I have flight from Bangalore to Dallas ( Qatar Airways), but I want reach to Bangalore from Visakhapatnam via Indigo ? Is there any alliance between these two airlines Qatar and Indigo? Can I do international check-in for the luggage or do I need to check-in luggage at Bangalore Airport only ?

Admin Reply :

No, there is no alliance between these two carriers. Indigo will by its own baggage allowance rules and will charge you for excess baggage being carried as per international allowance. Only Goair and Air Costa allow international baggage on domestic flight provided it is taken within 24 hours.
