Bangkok Airways Frequent Flyer Program

FlyerBonus is the frequent flyer program of Bangkok Airways.

Passengers need to register themselves to avail of the free FlyerBonus membership.

Levels of FlyerBonus Membership

There are two levels of FlyerBonus membership:

  1. Priority Membership

  2. Premier Membership

Priority Membership is gained by free enrolment.

Premier Membership is gained by either earning 12500 qualifying points or flying on 35 qualifying sectors within a period of 12 months.

What are qualifying points of Bangkok Airways?

The qualifying points of Bangkok Airways are those that are gained from flight booking on the airline. Points that are gained from the partners or bonus points are not considered as qualifying points.

What are not the qualifying sectors of flights?

Certain sectors of flights are non-qualifying for the purpose of determining the FlyerBonus membership level. Codeshare flights, those booked as award tickets and non-revenue tickets of classes R,P,S,X,U and Z are not considered to be qualifying sectors of flights.

Earning the FlyerBonus Points

These are earned in following manner:

  1. Flights- Points can be earned on flying with Bangkok Airlines or its partner airlines.

  2. Hotels- About 19 hotels are associated with the program for earning the points and

  3. Car Rentals- 4 car rental companies are partnered with airline for earning points (avis, Budget, Hertz and National)

  4. Lifestyle- Blue Anda and Agoda are two lifestyle category partners for earning points.

  5. Credit Cards- 5 banking and credit card companies are also participating in this program for enabling passengers to earn miles.

Redemption of PointsSimilarly, there are points to be accumulated on flying with Etihad, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon, Jet Airways and Qatar Airways.

FlyerBonus points can be redeemed in following ways:

  • Award Flights

  • Hotels- Spending on any of the specified 16 hotels is another way of redemption of points.

  • Ancillary Awards- Access to Blue Ribbon Club lounges.

  • Car Rental companies- Avis, Hertz, National and Budget are four car rental companies with which the airline has agreement to redeem points.

  • Lifestyle- Blu Anda is the lifestyle partner where points can be redeemed.

The accumulated points can be redeemed by having award tickets of Bangkok airlines or with its partner airlines.
