Way to Check in On Aeroflot

Airport Counter Check in Times

You must complete the airport check in 40 minutes before scheduled departure of flights. Closure time of boarding gate is 20 minutes before the scheduled departure of flight.

Self-service kiosks

You will have to use the Aeroflot Bonus Card or the Credit card to login. The registered passengers can leave their check in baggage at the designated drop off boxes or the regular check-in desks.

Cut-off times for check-in at airport

40 minutes before scheduled departure time of flight. 30 minutes for Aeroflot-Shuttle flights. If you have baggage, then it must be dropped at drop-off points 45 minutes before departure of flight.

Flights from US cities of NY, LA, Washington DC and Miami, Tel Aviv and Shanghai have cut-off check in time limit of 60 minutes.

Check out whether your city of departure has self-service kiosk or not.

These kiosks can be used if you are checking in not later than 45 minutes before flight departure time and are having electronic tickets.

Online Check in

Aeroflot online check-in begins 24 hours before and up to 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time of flight. Cut-off time for online check in on flight from US cities, Tel Aviv and Shanghai is 60 minutes before departure of flight.

Passengers with registered baggage can drop their baggage before the cut-off times.

Passenger not eligible to use Aeroflot online check in system:

·        If the flights are operating from airports which do not have Aeroflot check in system integrated.

·        If you are carrying animals or weapons in carry on baggage

·        Require Unaccompanied Minor Service

·        Are flying on codeshare flights where Aeroflot is not the actual carrier

·        If you are flying on charter flights of Rossiya Airlines

·        If flights are departing from certain airports

Boarding Pass

Irrespective of whether you are having electronic boarding pass or not, it is important that print-out of the same is taken since only paper boarding pass would be accepted for boarding by the security at airport. This can be printed at your place or at the kiosk machine at airport.
