It is possible to check in to the S7 airline flights using either the counters at airports, online medium or even the mobile application.

S7 Online Check In

Passengers can check in online in S7, as with the other airlines. Online check in is not possible in following cases:

• Any passenger requires special assistance

• When carrying an animal

• Want to take more than 10 passengers and have extra baggage

• For China bound flights from Russian cities of  Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan-Ude and Yakutsk.

Online Boarding Passes

Boarding passes can be received either in the email as PDF files or can be received using SMS. You need to carry the boarding pass either in mobile or in printed format along with you. This can be done from home or even at the airport. Even the barcode on your mobile device can be scanned.

What can be done using Online check in?

At first you are required to sign-in into your account using booking ID or e-ticket niumber. Additionally, you will have to enter the Last name.

Next Steps:

1. Confirm passengers.

2. Seat assignment happens automatically, or can be done on own as well.

3. Download boarding pass and get this printed

4. If baggage is being carried then it can be left at baggage drop off counters.

S7 Airport Ticket Counter Check In

Check in at the ticket counter at airports is open 3-4 hours before the scheduled flight departure time and this closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time of flight. Moscow airport check in opens 24 hours before departure of flight.

Airline recommends that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight time.

Online Seat Selection Charges

While doing online check-in and selecting the seats, whether charges have to be paid or not depends on following:

• Free for economy flex when online registration is being done. Seat selection must be done 30 hours before flight departure time for it to be free of cost.

• Min. charge of Roubles 300 for economy basic fare tickets. Actual price varies depending on route of flight and departure flight.

• Business Flex and Business Basic fares passengers seat selection is free both at the times of online registration as well as when the ticket is being bought.

Passengers for whom advance seat booking is free:

• Business class travellers

• Corporate clients

• For S7 Silver, Gold and Platinum Priority members, and two fellow-travellers of each of them. It is also free for oneworld alliance Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald members, and also two fellow-travellers of each.

• Business Mix and Multi Pass fare choice passengers

• Passengers booked with children below 12 years of age.

• Disabled persons, such as: total or partial blindness, deaf, on wheelchair, feet in plaster, mental disorders.

Changing Seats at Airport at time of check-in:

• Passengers who have booked an economy fare ticket would be allowed to change the seat only through the website under Manage My Booking

• Passengers who have booked Economy Flex and Business fares are allowed to change a chosen seat for free 4 hours before finishing the check in time deadline. If time is less than 4 hours, then the same can be changed at the airport.
