JetStar allows you to check-in on its domestic and international flights in a number of ways. This allows you to get the boarding pass through different means and a lot of flexibility and convenience.

Here are the various ways in which you can check in online on JetStar flights:

1. Online Check In

2. Kiosk Check In (allowed for flights with Australia and New Zealand)

3. Airport Check In

4. Singapore Airport Early Check In

5. Hong Kong in-town Check In

6. Straight to Gate Check In

It is important for passengers to know from which terminal flights are departing because some of the domestic flights also depart from the international terminals.

JetStar Online Check In

Domestic Flights

Online check-in on domestic flights of Australia and NZ can be done as many as 28 days before the date of flight and up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time of the flight. This gives a lot of time and flexibility to the flyers.

However, on domestic flights of JetStar Japan and JetStar Pacific online or web check in can be done only 2 days before and up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time of flight.

If you are carrying check in bags, these need to be left at the drop-off boxes at the airport.

If you are travelling on domestic flight departing from the international terminal, online check in can be done but the identification has to be presented at the check-in counter before flying. So, some time will certainly go and it will not be as smooth.

International Flights

Online check in facility on JetStar is not available on international flights from/to Australia and New Zealand. This facility is also not available on flights of JetStar Japan and JetStar Pacific.

For passengers eligible for Straight to Gate International Flights (which are select 3K-coded JetStar Asia flights within Asia region), online check in is available 24 hours and up to 2 hours before flight departure time as scheduled.

Boarding pass for international flights of JetStar Airways, JetStar Pacific and JetStar Japan is to be issued at the check-in counter of the airport. You can make use of the mobile boarding passes for the domestic flights of these airlines.

Please note: For Jetstar Japan (GK) flights departing from Shanghai Airport, check-in and bag drop close 50 min before scheduled departure time.

Airport Kiosk Check-in

Kiosk check in facility is available for-

1. Domestic flight of Australia, New Zealand or JetStar Japan (GK).

2. Selected JetStar Asia (3K) flights from Singapore

Kiosks are available at airports of following cities in these countries-

Australia: Melbourne (Tullamarine), Sydney, Hobart, Perth, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide and Cairns

New Zealand: Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington

Japan: Tokyo (Narita), Fukuoka, Okinawa (Naha), Osaka (Kansai), Sapporo, Nagoya (Chubu), Matsuyama,Takamatsu, Oita, Kagoshima and Kumamoto

Singapore: Kiosk check-in is available for following routes on JetStar-

Steps in Kiosk check-in:

1. Scan passport

2. Add baggage

3. Print boarding pass and bag tag

4. Tag the bag and proceed to bag drop

5. Scan boarding pass at kiosk

6. Place the bag on belt.

You must remember to carry valid ID proofs for JetStar airlines.
