Miles and More is the frequent flyer program of Lufthansa and is also used by the Germanwings flyers for collecting and redemption of points. Besides, this there is a niche loyalty rewards program called Boomerang Club in which passenger earn 10 miles on every spent Euro on Eurowings or Germanwings flights.
Under the Boomerang Club, award flights for passengers travelling on BASIC fare within Germany and Europe begin from as low as 10000 miles for one-way and 20000 miles for round trip. Award flights to other intercontinental destinations begin from 40000 and 80000 miles per month. SMART fare class need 15k and 30k miles for Germany and Europe and 60k and 120k for Intercontinental one way and round trip flights respectively. BEST fare classes need 40k and 80k for one and round trip respectively for Germany domestic and European flights and 80k and 160k for one way and round trip flights of Intercontinental flights.
Please note that these two programs operate separately and these can not be combined for earning or redemption of miles.
In order to earn the miles, there service card number of Miles and More is to be entered every time a booking is to be made. Miles are credited on the basis of fares booked. Miles are to be earned and redeemed with about 300 partners of Germanwings globally. You are simply required to register yourself online for this program.
Miles can also be earned from other frequent flyer programs. These are Aeroplan of Air Canada, MileagePlus of United Airlines and Mileage Club of ANA of Japan.
There are specific charts which mention how many miles are to be earned or redeemed on short or medium/long haul flights for different fare classes of travel on Eurowings or Germanwings.
