Air Berlin Frequent Flyer Program

topbonus is the frequent flyer program (ffp) of airberlin. Registration for the program is free of cost and you can earn 500 points on joining.

Levels of Membership

Classic Card- Passengers who have signed up for the program get this basic entry-level card. Benefits include award flights starting usage of 7500 miles, shop at topbonus shop, business class upgrades and companion ticket at 50% of fare.

Silver Card- Passengers who have gathered 25000 status miles or 24 flights. Equivalent to oneworld Ruby status. Benefits include waiting list and priority check in, fast lane security, free seat reservations, 20% bonus on award miles accumulated on flying airberlin and NIKI and exclusive waiting and parking areas.

Gold Card- Passengers earning 50000 status miles or 60 flights. Equivalent to oneworld Sapphire status. Benefits include free access to airport lounges, personal contact services, priority seating, 40% bonus on award miles gained from airberlin and NIKI.

Platinum Card- Passengers with 100000 status miles and above. Equivalent to oneworld Emerald status. Benefits include two voucher to upgrade to business class, personal contact service, free Gourmet food and a drink on flights of more than 1 hour duration, first class lounge access and silver card status for your partner.

Earning Miles

Miles can be earned through a number of ways. These can be earned on flights of 25 airline partners, 100 hotel partners, 8 car rental companies, 6 finance and insurance, 2 credit card entities of airberlin and NIKI, 18 magazines and newspapers,  online shopping spends at airberlin store and with 17 other partners.

Redeeming Miles

Redemption of the points can be done by opting for flights from the same airlines partners, hotels partners and car rental companies. You can buy Topdeals tickets, go for business class upgrades, book companion tickets at 50% of airfare.
