- Give your 9-digit membership number when booking, or add it in Manage Booking, or quote it at airport check-in. Bookings through travel agents or online agencies also count if you supply the number.
- Forgot to give your number? Open the Retro Claim area of your online account, no later than 90 days post-flight.
- BluChips are credited only after the flight is completed. Bookings paid in a foreign currency earn on the rupee equivalent. If you change your ticket, the points follow what you finally pay.
- Flights paid for with BluChips do not earn new ones. Extras bought elsewhere earn nothing.
- Partners: IndiGo co-branded credit cards (with Kotak Mahindra Bank and SBI), Swiggy and, since March 2026, duty-free shopping at airports run by Adani. Partner earnings are credited once the partner confirms the activity, for example after a card bill is paid.
Spending BluChips
- Use them on any IndiGo-operated flight, in Economy or IndiGoStretch, on any date with no blackouts, as long as a seat is left.
- Log in to your account, choose BluChips as the payment method, pick the passengers (yourself or your nominees) and confirm with a one-time code sent to your mobile.
- They cannot pay for add-ons, taxes, fees or charges, and they are not valid on codeshare flights operated by partner airlines. Those extra amounts are charged in rupees.
How long BluChips last
- They stay valid while you earn or spend at least once with IndiGo or a programme partner in any two-year stretch.
- Points added late, after expiry, are not restored.
