Reading the site

You can read every page without giving us any personal information. Like any web server, ours records technical details of each request (your IP address, the page asked for, the date and your browser type) in its access logs. We use them to keep the site running and secure. The hosting company keeps these logs for a limited time.

Questions and comments

If you leave a question or comment we store the name you type, your email address, your message, the date and your IP address. The email address is never shown on the site. We use it to send you our reply when you asked a question, and the IP address to stop spam and abuse. Comments are checked by a person before they are shown. Your name and message are shown next to the comment once it is approved.

To have a comment removed, or your email address deleted, write to info@baggage-allowance.info and tell us the page and the date.

Spam protection

The comment form can use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from robots. When it is used, Google receives the technical information that reCAPTCHA needs, and Google's own privacy policy and terms apply to it.

Cookies and fonts

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and has no visitor statistics. The text font is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to download it, and Google receives your IP address when it does. If we add visitor statistics or other cookies in future, we will update this page first.

Links to other sites

Pages link to airlines, airports and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. We will answer within a reasonable time. Write to info@baggage-allowance.info.

When this policy changes we change the date at the top.
