Earning

  • Avios and Qpoints are earned on Qatar Airways, oneworld and other partner flights, with hotel, car-hire and retail partners, and through the Doha Bank Privilege Club card. The total varies with the destination, the airline and the fare; an online calculator shows it.
  • Spending at Qatar Duty Free or on Qatar Airways Holidays packages earns one Qpoint per USD 100.
  • Quote your membership number at booking. Avios expire 36 months after your last earning or spending; Qpoints lapse 365 days after you earn them.

Spending

  • Free flights and upgrades, or a mix of cash and Avios.
  • As much as 20% off in Qatar Duty Free when you pay in Avios.
  • A child flying alone on an award ticket needs the adult Avios amount plus a service fee of 3,000 Avios each way.
  • A cancelled award ticket follows tier-based fees: Platinum and Gold main members pay nothing for changes or cancellations until three hours before departure; Silver, Burgundy and guests pay USD 25 over 24 hours before, or USD 100 between three and 24 hours before.
