Malaysia Airlines belongs to the oneworld alliance and also codeshares with airlines outside it. On a codeshare flight, a partner airline may fly the aircraft, and its luggage rules may differ, so check the operating airline on your booking. The airline says a codeshare trip on one ticket carries the same bag allowance on every leg.
