What to know

  • At Frankfurt and Munich the app tells you which carousel holds your bag, and long layovers have waiting areas for travellers with limited mobility.
  • Lufthansa Group airlines such as Austrian (Vienna), SWISS (Zurich and Geneva) and Brussels Airlines (Brussels) provide further hubs and use their own rules for children and special assistance.
  • Check-in deadlines and baggage drop times differ for each departure airport; see the Check-In and Boarding page.
  • Codeshares extend the network, for example with Air India (146 routes to 22 countries) and Thai Airways; see the Alliances and Partners page.
