Checking in
- On the site, go to Check-in and enter the booking reference or your Flying Blue number; in the app, check in and download the pass.
- Your pass can be emailed, saved to your phone, printed at once, or collected from a kiosk. Kiosks run around the clock. If neither the website nor a kiosk can issue it, you must use an Air France counter, so come earlier.
- Bag tags can no longer be printed at home; print them at an airport kiosk.
- Travelling with hold bags means using the bag drop counter; with hand luggage only, head for the boarding hall. Hand bags in before the cut-off.
- On connections, each flight keeps its own limits. All of this covers flights flown by Air France itself.
Day-before bag drop at Paris-Charles de Gaulle
- Free, for all Air France departures from CDG except Tel Aviv. US-bound flights are limited to the final 24 hours.
- Each passenger attends in person with bags and travel documents; a family can be represented by one traveller with parental authority who holds everyone's documents.
- Not available for a child travelling alone, for animals in the hold, or for tax refund formalities, which are handled on departure day.
- Bags wrapped in household cling film are refused; approved wrapping is sold in Terminals 2E and 2F.

1 question and answers
I want to know if it is possible to do the check in online in a flight from Lisbon to Hanoi, opereted for Air France ( Lisbon-Paris CDG) and Vietnam Air Lines ( CDG-Hanoi).
If it is not, do i have to go to the airport counter in Lisbon and made the check in with my baggage? The two flights are in the same ticket. Or i have to collected my baggage at Paris-CDG and do the check in again at the Vietnam Air Lines counter?
Thank you.
Yours sincerely.
Since it is a connection involving a different airline, the web check in for second leg of journey would not be possible. In that case, it is better to go to airport for checking in with baggage. At the airport, the airline staff would be able to tag the bags for through check in to final destination, if that would be possible.
