Baggage
- The cap for baggage that is destroyed, lost, late or damaged is 1,519 SDR for each passenger, on most international trips and on flights inside Canada.
- The airline tries to deliver a late bag within a day, and gives back your bag fee if the bag is late, damaged or lost.
- Sensible stop-gap costs are repaid against receipts sent via the baggage form, within 21 days of the bag being handed to you.
- Give proof to justify the amounts you claim. A US-facing page of the customer service plan quotes 1,288 SDR for flights to or from the USA, so check your itinerary.
Delays, cancellations and denied boarding
- A delay or cancellation of two hours or more, or denied boarding, can bring treatment and compensation rights under the Canadian regulations, which the Canadian Transportation Agency explains.
- Provide contact information when booking so the airline can inform you at the airport and on board.
