Cathay is the single membership programme of Cathay Pacific, combining the former Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles. You earn Asia Miles to spend and Status Points to reach higher statuses.

Green
- Status Points to upgrade or renew in a membership year
- None; a lifetime status on joining
- Examples of benefits
- Earn Asia Miles and Status Points, priority online check-in up to 48 hours ahead, extra baggage and extra legroom redemption, 24-hour free cancellation
Silver
- Status Points to upgrade or renew in a membership year
- 300
- Examples of benefits
- Adds lounge access redemption and purchase, Business class lounge access, advance seat reservation, Business class counter check-in, priority boarding and baggage handling
Gold
- Status Points to upgrade or renew in a membership year
- 600
- Examples of benefits
- Adds preferred seat reservation, additional checked baggage allowance, priority redemption on events and packages, complimentary inflight Wi-Fi
Diamond
- Status Points to upgrade or renew in a membership year
- 1,200
- Examples of benefits
- Adds First class counter check-in and boarding, First class lounge access, special rates on miles for flight redemption
- You must also fly at least one eligible sector on Cathay Pacific. Upgrades happen when you reach the next threshold, one status at a time.
- Status Points come from Cathay Pacific flights, oneworld partners and co-branded credit cards (Hong Kong only).
- Mid-status benefits include lounge passes, bookable upgrades and a complimentary Gold companion.
- From 1 January 2027 the enhanced programme changes the rules; during 2026 any renewal, upgrade or downgrade resets Status Points to zero and the membership ends on 31 December 2026.
- The 24-hour free cancellation applies to website and app bookings where the first flight is more than 8 days away and the membership number was added.
