IndiGo charges a fee to carry an infant on a parent's lap and a service fee when a child travels without an adult. Both amounts are higher than the ones listed in an earlier version of this article. Figures are in rupees for tickets sold in rupees, per infant or child for each flight sector. IndiGo lists matching amounts in other currencies on its fees and charges page.
Infants
On domestic flights the infant fee at the airport is 3,000. IndiGo says infants who are added in advance are offered a lower rate, so add the infant when you book. International infant fees depend on the route and are the same on Saver, Flexi and UpFront fares:

The same table gives fees for flights back to India in the local currency. On IndiGoStretch and Stretch+ fares the infant fee is higher, for example 11,400 to Amsterdam and 18,000 to Manchester. An infant on those fares may carry a 7 kg hand bag.
Unaccompanied minors
- Domestic flights: 5,999 for each flight sector.
- International flights: 12,999 for each flight sector.
