Rapid Rewards is Southwest's loyalty programme. You earn points on flights, and can reach A-List or A-List Preferred status in a calendar year.

A-List Preferred
- How to qualify in one calendar year
- Fly 40 qualifying one-way segments or collect 70,000 tier qualifying points
- Main benefits
- All A-List benefits, plus two free checked bags, any seat including Extra Legroom at booking, boarding ahead of Group 1, a 100% earning bonus, and as many as two premium drinks on selected flights beyond 250 miles
- Southwest-operated flights count when you pay fully in cash, LUV Vouchers, gift cards, credits, or with Cash + Points. Reward flights, charter, non-revenue and Companion Pass travel, and some online travel agency bookings do not count.
- Points can come from Southwest flights, Rapid Rewards partners and Getaways by Southwest bookings. Qualifying Rapid Rewards Chase cards add 1,500 tier qualifying points per USD 5,000 of spending.
- Holding an open Southwest Rapid Rewards card on the year's first business day adds a single boost of 10,000 Companion Pass qualifying points.

You can enroll in Rapid Rewards program by filling out the form provided at : https://www.southwest.com/account/enroll/enroll-member?f=zBNRRRHPAA1505SMLzz&clk=RRHOMERRAQBTM2NMEB150616. Once this process is complete, you will be provided an account number. You can take a note of it. This is required at the time of making any reservation so that the points can be accumulated.
