EVA Air Check-in & Boarding

EVA Air offers automated check-in, online check-in and counters at the airport. Counter hours and pre-boarding times differ by airport; check the Worldwide Airports pages for yours.

Key times

International flights

Check in at least 1 hour before scheduled departure

Special needs (unaccompanied minor, disabled, deaf, blind, wheelchair or walker users)

Check in at least 2 hours before departure

Boarding pass deadline

Have your boarding pass at least 1 hour before departure, otherwise your seat can be released and boarding refused

Transit passengers with a boarding pass

Be at the gate no later than 30 minutes before departure

• Gold-marked Priority check-in is for Royal Laurel and Business Class passengers, Infinity MileageLands Diamond and Gold members and Star Alliance Gold members.
• Passengers who checked in online and only need to drop bags use the orange Bag Drop counter. Others use the green Check-in counter.
• Bring your ticket, travel documents and baggage.
• Exit-row seats cannot go to passengers under 15, those unable to read or follow the safety instructions, those travelling with small children or service animals, or those lacking the mobility, sight or hearing to carry out evacuation tasks.
