In early 2018 Etihad changed its baggage rules, and this page kept the earlier policy for passengers who held tickets bought before 31 January 2018. More than eight years later nobody can still be travelling on such a ticket under those conditions, so we have removed the old allowance tables to avoid confusion.
What applies now
- On flights to or from the USA, Canada, Tunisia or Morocco, economy passengers (not on the Basic fare) can check two bags of up to 23 kg each. Business, first and Residence passengers can check two bags of up to 32 kg each.
- On other routes you can check several bags as long as the total stays within your allowance and no bag exceeds 32 kg.
- The Basic economy fare has no checked bag included.
- Your allowance is shown during booking, on your confirmation and in Manage my booking.
