easyJet no longer publishes a fixed table of seat prices. It says seat prices depend on how busy the flight is, the route, the date and when you book, and displays the exact amount at purchase. This article explains the seat options and the connected charges.
Seat types
- First row (extra legroom): the front row of the cabin.
- Up Front or overwing (extra legroom): seats near the front or by the wing with more room.
- Other seats: everywhere else on the plane.
You can buy any of them when you book, or later in Manage bookings on the website or app until check-in. All are subject to availability.
If you do not pick a seat
If you skip this step, easyJet allots a seat at random, at no cost, during check-in. It tries to keep everyone on one booking together but cannot promise it, especially if you check in close to departure. On the day, crew may offer an upgrade to an Up Front or extra legroom seat for a fee.
