- Economy class travellers allowed 1 cabin baggage + (1 laptop or 1 handbag). Max size 36 x 56 x 23 cm, Max weight 7 kg.
- Business class travellers allowed 2 pcs of cabin baggage + (1 laptop or 1 handbag). Max size 36 x 56 x 23 cm, Max weight 10 kg for main cabin baggage.
Check in Baggage
Max weight of a check-in baggage shall not be more than 32 kg.
Economy class flights on Boeing airplane is now allowed 25 kg in check-in baggage. Earlier it was 15 kg. Further, the restriction of allowing only 2 pieces of baggage on on Boeing economy class flights does not apply any more.
For all routes except for Bangladesh and Melbourne, the free allowance is-

[9/12, 18:05] Malindo Chat: The following are the conditions for bringing bicycles on Batik Air Malaysia (OD) flights:
a.Make sure the equipment is packaged correctly, safely, and inserted into the bike box.
b.The bicycle is included in free checked baggage (if the weight is more than the checked baggage allowance you will have to pay an excess baggage fee)
c.Maximum weight is 30 KG
d.Fill Out A Special Baggage Form.
e.Bicycle Handling Fee charged based on each Point of Sales (POS)

Limit of the bicycle box is 165 cm linear dimensions. Your bicycle is more than this size. Therefore, excess baggage charges would be applicable. If total weight of check in baggage is more than free allowance, then overweight charges will also be applicable.

If you are bring it within the check in baggage allowance limits of size and weight, there is no charge.
You can check small musical instruments in cabin provided it meets the size limits of the cabin baggage, so that it can be placed at the designated spot for the cabin bags. If it is larger, you can buy a seat for it in order to carry it in cabin. Otherwise, you have to check it in.
Up to 5 such devices can be taken in cabin.
It will be MYR 390 for a 20 kg excess bag.
