Wheelchairs and disability help
- Say what you need when booking, or at the latest 48 hours before departure, by sending the form to customer service. Help can run from check-in to the gate or the seat, and at transfers and on arrival.
- Help before check-in (kerb to desk) comes from the airport's own service providers, whom you contact directly.
- Since 1 October 2025, a wheelchair or aid with a fixed, non-removable lithium battery may travel with at most two batteries of up to 160 Wh each.
- Assistance dogs are accepted; the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is recognised by staff but gives no priority at security.
Pregnancy
- Be ready to show your maternity record or a recent medical certificate proving you are fit to fly. We did not find week limits on the pages we could read.
Children travelling alone
- Children 12 or older may fly alone. Under 12 they must fly with a responsible adult; ages 5 to 11 may fly with a sibling aged 12 or older who can assist them.
- The unaccompanied minor service is for ages 5 to 11 on direct flights between points in Germany (including domestic), Austria and Switzerland, and to or from some other cities such as Palma de Mallorca, Prague and Stockholm. Search results show a fee of EUR 50 per child per segment.
