Aeroflot sells each cabin in fare families, and the family decides how much you can check in for free. The older version of this page listed the booking class codes behind each family. Aeroflot now gives the allowance by family name, which is what this update shows. The figures come from the airline's baggage page as we read it on 29 October 2026. Aeroflot's site has since stopped answering our requests, so we could not re-read it on the day of this update.

Combining and extra bags
- Passengers travelling together can pool their free allowance by weight if they check in at the same time. No single piece may exceed 32 kg.
- Paid bags cannot be pooled with free allowance.
- Aeroflot Bonus members get extra bags: two on the Platinum, Infinite and Infinite Pro tiers, one for Gold and Silver, and one for Basic Pro members on the Optimum and Maximum economy fares.
Children and infants
Children from 2 to 12, and infants with their own seat, get the same allowance as adults. An infant without a seat on a Base or Shuttle ticket gets no free bag. On other fares the infant may check one bag up to 10 kg.
Cabin baggage
- Economy and Comfort: one piece up to 10 kg. Business: one piece up to 15 kg.
- Largest size for any cabin bag: 55 x 40 x 25 cm.
- Extras allowed in addition: for example a small rucksack, handbag or briefcase up to 5 kg.
Check the family of your ticket in Aeroflot's fare applicability rules, since the same cabin can have several families on one route.
