Check-in Baggage Allowance
Gulf Air provides free check-in baggage allowance based on the Cabin class which passenger flies.
Falcon Gold Cabin class passengers are allowed 40 kg of check in baggage whereas the Economy class travellers are allowed 30 kg of allowance. Children above 2 years of age are allowed the same allowance. Infants are allowed special allowance of 10 kg but they are not entitled to regular allowance. Both children and infants are also allowed to carry a collapsible stroller or a push car or a car seat.
However, if the passengers are also its frequent flyer program members, then they are entitled to additional allowances. Gold members are allowed an additional 20 kg and Silver members are allowed 15 kg per person.
Each bag shall not weigh more than 32 kg and its length, breadth and height shall not be more than 95, 75 and 45 cms respectively.
On the codeshare flights, the airline has a very clear policy. If Gulf Air is the first carrier and the connecting flight bears the flight number of Gulf Air but is operated by another carrier, then the allowance rules of Gulf Air will apply. However, if the first carrier is that other carrier and the connecting flight is provided by Gulf Air, then the rules of that first operating carrier will apply.
Cabin or Hand luggage
Gulf Air provides free carry-on baggage allowance as well.
Falcon Gold members are allowed to carry either one bag of maximum dimensions 55, 40, 30 cms or one garment bag and one briefcase. Garment carrier shall be of up to 20 cms width and briefcase of 45, 40 , 30 cms. Total weight of baggage shall not be more than 9 kgs per passenger.
Economy class members are allowed to carry one bag of 45, 40, 30 cms. Total weight shall not be more than 6 kgs.
Infants are allowed cabin baggage allowance as well. For them, passengers can carry one bag of 44, 35 and 20 cms. Total weight shall not exceed 3 kgs.
Special Rules of Baggage Allowance on codeshare flights to/from USA and Canada
If codeshare is operated by American Airlines
Falcon Gold cabin class members are allowed to carry 2 checked in luggage pieces with each weighing not more than 32 kgs and dimensions 158 cms.
Economy class passengers are allowed to carry 2 pieces of total linear dimensions for both bags not more than 273 cms and weight not more than 23 kgs each. If bags weigh more than 23 kg but less than 32 kg, fixed charge per bag of USD 50 will have to be paid.
Infants are also entitled to free checked in luggage allowance and they are entitled to 1 bag of total linear dimensions 158 cms and weight up to 23 kg.
2. If ticket is issued by Gulf Air but flight is operated by another airline to/from USA/Canada
The baggage policy of that carrier would apply.
3. If ticket is issued by Gulf Air but flight is operated by another carrier excluding USA/Canada
Baggage allowance of that carrier will apply in their leg of journey, irrespective of where you began the journey.
Excess Baggage Charges
Following are the excess baggage charges per kg for flying on Gulf Air operated flights. These are not applicable to those flights which are being operated by other carriers though ticket has been issued by Gulf Air. This chart is not applicable for codeshare flights and for flights to/from USA/Canada.

Business class in Gulf Air is called the Falcon Gold class and the baggage allowance for it is 40 kg check in baggage and 9 kg cabin allowance. However, since you are also a Gold member of the Gulf Air Falconflyer programme, you are entitled to an additional 20 kg check in baggage.
Please note that no check in bag shall be more than 32 kg in weight. Therefore, please divide the weight in check in bags accordingly.

Gulf Air allows 30 kg check in and 6 kg cabin allowance for economy class. Kenya airways allows 2 bags of 23 each as free check in and 7 kg as free cabin baggage allowance. So, if flying on both, the allowance shall ideally meet both requirements.

At first, we are not related to any airline. Second, if the total weight and size of the TV is within permitted allowance of check in baggage, it will be allowed free. People do not have other option but to take these items in check in luggage. Luggage handlers are also aware of these and are expected to take due care. Please refer to the check in timelines. Since it is a long stopover, you will have to recheckin. You have not mentioned the sector you are travelling. You are confusing two different baggage allowance systems- weight based and piece based. Piece based system is generally applicable for Americas flights and for other destinations, the weight based systems is applicable. Now, you have mentioned that you have 30 kg allowance permitted which means that it is weight based system which is applicable. Within this allowance, you can take more than one check in baggage. Baggage dimensions shall be less than 158 cm for each bag.
There is no question of "each piece not exceeding 23 kg" since yours is not on piece-based system.

There is no limitation on number of pcs to be carried within the permissible weight allowance. Please note further than 40 kg check in allowance is only for Falcon Gold cabin class travellers and for the Economy class travellers, allowance for check in baggage is only 30 kg. Economy travellers are allowed cabin baggage of 6 kg and Falcon Gold are allowed Cabin baggage of 9 kgs only.

Laptop can be taken in addition to 7 kg allowance of cabin baggage.. Check in baggage allowance is 30 kg. You are not allowed to club cabin baggage with check in baggage free of cost. If you want to take cabin baggage with check in baggage. excess weight charges will be applicable.

Gulf Air has codeshare agreement with AA but this only allows acceptance of baggage policy of AA on Gulf air. However, whether check in baggage would be automatically transferred to the next flight at stopover location depends on many other factors as well, such as the time of stoppage at layover destination. THerefore, this information can best be best answered by AA only.

Which class are you travelling and are you a single passenger travelling. Gulf Air allowance is 30 kg for economy and 40 kg for Falcon Gold members. LED TV is allowed free so long as it is within the check in baggage size and weight limits.

Ideally, it shall go directly since the layover time is less than 12 hours. However, it varies from airline to airline. It would be good if you could seek confirmation from the airline staff at the airport. Sometimes, there is a requirement to do airport check in if through check in is to happen. This needs to be asked from the airline staff at the airport. Fully collapsibel trolleys are generally allowed in check in only.

You can carry LED TV of any dimension without paying an excess baggage charge so long it meet the check in baggage allowance size and weight limits. If weight exceeds, then excess weight charges for check in baggage would apply.

Generally, you would be allowed to bring more than one check in bag. The only restriction is that the weight of one check in baggage shall not exceed 32 kg. You are allowed 6 kg hand baggage allowance on GulfAir in economy class travel. Falcon Gold members are allowed 9 kg hand baggage. This is different from other airlines hand baggage allowance.

Have you booked a single ticket for these itineraries? If yes, it means that you have booked with Gulf Air but the London-Raleigh NC leg is operated by AA which is codeshare partner of Gulf Air. Hence, allowance will be 2 bags of 23 kg each for economy class travellers.
