Bangkok Airways Check-In and Boarding

There are different ways in which you can check-in on Bangkok Airways flights. These are:

  • Airport Counter Check In

  • Online Check In

  • Kiosk Check In

  • Call Center Check In

  • Through Check In

Bangkok Airways Airport Check-in Cut-off Times

Cut -off times for airports vary for airport to airport. The passengers are requested to contact the airline to ascertain what are the times for checking in at a particular airport.

In general, following are the timelines for airport counter check -in (based on Suvarnabhumi airport)

  • Domestic flights- at least 1.5 hours before and up to 40 minutes before scheduled departure time.

  • International flights- at least 2 hours before and up to 50 minutes scheduled departure time.

  • Boarding gate closure time: 20 minutes before flight time.

Bangkok Airways Kiosk Check-in

Available from 24 hours up to 1 hour before flight departure time. Limited only for Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Samui airports for the time being.

Kiosks also help in self-tagging of bags.

Bangkok Airways Online Check-in

Online or web check-in is available from website or mobile device.

It open from 24 hours up to 1 hour before scheduled departure of flights.

If check-in baggage is to be carried after the online check in or kiosk check  in, then passenger shall present at check-in counter at least 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time of international flight and 60 minutes before departure time of domestic flight.

Passengers shall come at  boarding gate at least 50 minutes before international and 40 minutes before domestic flights. Boarding gate closes 15 minutes before flights.

To complete the online check-in, passenger shall enter  one of the following:

  • Booking Reference and Last Name

  • E-ticket Number and Last Name

  • Frequent Flyer Number, Last Name and Airline

Bangkok Airways  Call Center Check-in (Ph: 1771)

Available only for domestic flights from 24 hours to 2 hours before scheduled departure time of flight.

Ineligible passengers for self-service check-in :

Self-service check-in (online and kiosk) and Call center check-in is not available for:

  • Passengers who need special assistance

  • Groups of more than 9 people

  • Infants is being carried

  • Unaccompanied passengers

  • When any payment is due
